SP+ (a Metropolis company) is hiring for a parking attendant/valet position in Portland, ME. The role covers vehicle inspections, customer assistance, and cash-handling duties at a busy garage location.

You must have a valid state driver’s license and a current DOT Medical Card, with flexibility for shifts including weekends. The job offers benefits and a comprehensive set of employee programs.

Qualifications

• Reading comprehension to understand simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to customers and employees.
• Basic math including adding, subtracting and handling money.
• Must maintain neat appearance and uniform at all times.
• DOT Medical Card and valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and assist passengers.
• Be present for scheduled shifts, on time, in uniform.
• Hold a valid state driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Possess a clean DMV record.
• Assist customers with questions and direct to Facility Manager when needed.
• Report accidents or policy violations to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris or spills to garage office.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of garage areas and local streets/landmarks.
• Assist with luggage and shuttle operations when applicable.
• Support Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
