Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Shuttle Driver in Coppell, TX. You will operate a diesel tractor-trailer with a CDL, delivering freight along scheduled routes between warehouses and loading docks. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in logs, and timely deliveries.

Expect to shuttle trailers between facilities, assist with loading and unloading, and perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Forklift experience is a plus; background checks are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Class A tractor trailer driving experience.
  • CDL Class A is required.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver freight within scheduled routes.
  • Shuttle trailers between manufacturing facilities and distribution warehouses.
  • Assist with loading/unloading.
  • Tailgate freight off trailer onto customer docks.
  • Maintain driver logs, trip reports, and other documents.
  • Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor-trailer.
  • Keep equipment fueled.
  • Follow company policy and trainings; keep truck clean.
  • Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
