Job summary

Vi Living’s Grayhawk community in Scottsdale is seeking a friendly Driver to transport residents to appointments and outings using community vehicles. You will provide compassionate assistance, ensure safety, and support residents during activities.

Requirements include a minimum 6 months driving experience, a valid license for the vehicle class, CDL with passenger endorsement, CPR/First Aid certification, and a clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

The Driver is responsible for transporting residents to and from appointments and outings using the community vehicles, which may include bus, van, limousine, sedan and trams. This position ensures residents receive all appropriate assistance during outings. Driver fulfills all operational tasks involving driving.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum 6 months of experience as a bus/van driver.
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license for vehicle class driven at time of hire.
• Must possess CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with passenger endorsement.
  Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required or must be willing and able to become CPR and First Aid certified.
• Must possess and maintain a clean DMV driving record.
• Knowledge of the surrounding neighborhood area.
• Excellent communication skills, patience and the ability to deal with stress and the needs of older adults.
• Ability to use a client and customer- focused approach to problem solving and goal setting.
• Must be sensitive to the needs of older adults.

Pay Range

USD $20.45 - USD $25.05 /Hr.
