Job summary

Glovis America, Inc., a logistics provider based in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Shuttle Driver to manage the movement and parking of new factory vehicles at its Shreveport, LA site. The role emphasizes safe vehicle handling, adherence to schedules, and multi-department collaboration.

Responsibilities include driving and parking vehicles per procedures, performing pre-drive inspections, and supporting various processing stages.

Qualifications

• Requires cross-training in other departments.
• Schedule flexibility including holidays, extended hours and weekends.
• Ability to read and write and follow instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and perception.
• Able to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Accurately record and verify numerical data (up to 17 characters).
• Demonstrated mechanical abilities and knowledge of automobile components.

Responsibilities

• Drive finished-product vehicles to designated locations and follow schedule/route.
• Inspect vehicles before driving; ensure damage-free condition.
• Prepare vehicles for processing and perform yard duties (tire pressure, battery checks).
• Drive vehicles on/off conveyors and assist with fueling and car washes.
• Perform periodic checklists and document issues to management.
• Carry out other duties as assigned under Shuttle Driver roles (e.g., FIL Driver, UBc-related tasks).
• Maintain safety and compliance with port policies and road regulations.
