Job summary

Arcadia Retirement Residence in Honolulu is seeking a Part Time Transportation Driver to serve residents on scheduled routes using a company vehicle. You will provide courier services between Arcadia Community Services family of companies and clients, including transporting inter-office mail and business correspondence.

Qualifications include a valid Hawaii driver’s license, a clean driving record, CPR and First Aid certifications, and a high school diploma with one year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid (unexpired) Hawaii driver’s license.
• Must have a clean driving abstract.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Drives the company shuttle bus on the shuttle service schedule.
• Assist residents with personal items during transportation.
• Coordinate and schedule transportation services for residents within the community.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of transported residents.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a transportation driver for residents of 15 Craigside and Arcadia using a company vehicle for scheduled routes in the community. Provides courier services between Arcadia Community Services family of companies and its clients, to include transporting inter‑office mail and business correspondence items.

Location - Arcadia Retirement Residence

The Following Shift Is Available

• Part Time A (30 - 35 hours per week)
• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Range

• $17.42 - $19.60 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Drives the company shuttle bus in accordance with the shuttle service schedule.
• Assist residents with their personal items accompanying them or acquired on the transportation run.
• Schedules and coordinates transportation services for residents in the community.
• Ensures the safety and well‑being of residents being transported.
• Assists with cleaning interior and exterior of company vehicle and ensures vehicle is inspected and maintained.
• Assists with driving shuttle to the mechanic shop for regular maintenance and as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents, clients, members and guests.
• Adheres to assigned work schedules and accurately uses the time and attendance system.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and maintain the following:

• Valid (Unexpired) State of Hawaii Driver's License
• Clean driving abstract
• Valid (Unexpired) CPR and First Aid certification

Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and one‑year related driving experience.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
