Job summary

RMA Worldwide Chauffeered Transportation is hiring CDL Shuttle Operators to support Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia. As a shuttle operator, you'll safely transport students, faculty, staff and visitors, providing professional service while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, communicating with dispatch, maintaining logs, and keeping vehicles clean and ready.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screening.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Previous commercial driving or shuttle experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation is hiring CDL Shuttle Operators to support transportation services for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia.

As a VCU Shuttle Operator, you'll play an important role in safely transporting students, faculty, staff, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest safety standards.

Available Shifts

RamRide

• 3:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM
• 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM

RamSafe

• 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
• Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedules available

Shift assignments are based on operational needs.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing:

• Criminal background check
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review
• DOT drug screening
• Verification of CDL license and Passenger endorsement
• Verification of DOT Medical Card
• Employment and driving history verification
