Job summary

Yugo Pullman Hills is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport students between points on a scheduled route in Pullman, WA. The role requires attentiveness to safety, punctuality, and excellent resident experience.

You will operate the shuttle, perform daily inspections, maintain records, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies while delivering friendly, reliable service to residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet federal & state driving standards.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
• Able to exercise good judgement under time pressure.
• Speak/read English to converse with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle in a safe, on-schedule manner on designated routes.
• Abide by traffic laws and company policy.
• Perform daily shuttle inspections for cleanliness and good working order.
• Deliver superior service to current and prospective residents.
• Assist with routine cleaning and detailing of shuttle.

• Assist passengers on/off safely.
• Enforce federal, state, and company guidelines for passengers.

As the Shuttle Driver, you will be a key part of our community-based team and provide a safe and secure way for our student to get from point A to point B. Naturally, our students utilize this amenity frequently, so you’ll need to be organized, adhere to a strict schedule and ensure you provide a safe and excellent student experience!

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Property Manager, here's what you'll be doing!

• Operate Shuttle in a safe and responsible manner on a scheduled route to all designated destinations.
• Always abide by all traffic laws and regulations and company policy.
• Perform daily inspection of the shuttle to insure cleanliness and good working order.
• Always deliver superior service to current and prospective residents.
• Assist with routine cleaning and detailing of shuttle.
• Maintain mileage and maintenance records along with fuel and fluid levels.
• Assist passengers on and off the vehicle, as necessary, ensuring safe transport.
• Enforce federal, state, and company guidelines for shuttle passengers.

• Able to speak and read English to converse with residents and staff.
• Switched on and approachableand a of course a night owl.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training
