Job summary

US Foods in Jackson, MS is hiring a Shuttle Truck Driver to operate tractor-trailers between distribution centers and shuttle yards. You will switch loaded trailers with empty ones, perform safety checks, and support efficient deliveries.

Schedule: Sun–Thu, 5pm until complete, base pay $25.55 per hour plus mileage; no overnights. Must be 21+, hold CDL-A with proper endorsements, and have 6+ months of trucking experience or 3+ months of foodservice delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have CDL A issued by state with required endorsements and DOT qualified.
• Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months of foodservice/food and beverage delivery experience.
• Double Endorsement License Required.

Responsibilities

• Check route and account numbers for all deliveries.
• Check customer invoices for loaded products.
• Move tractor to loading dock and attach trailers.
• Hook trailers, ensure connections are correct, and secure tractor.
• Log time using Electronic Time Keeping System and handle paperwork.
