Job summary

Sysco is seeking dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards. You may need to unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule and return home the same day.

Requirements include being 21+ years old, passing employment testing, and a valid Class A CDL with an insurable driving record. Doubles/triples endorsement is preferred. Heavy lifting may be required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment testing.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles (potentially triples) between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards.
• On an as-needed basis, unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.
• Home daily when routes are completed.

Shift Information

Monday-Saturday - Working rotating Saturdays, will not be working every Saturday.

Early Morning Routes: Start times are around 12AM depending on your assigned route.

Flexible Route Lengths: Work approximately 8-12 hours per shift, depending on your route.

Home Daily: Hit the road, complete your route, and get home the same day.

What You Bring

• 1-2 years of route delivery experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Physical Demands

• Touch freight - may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds occasionally.
