Job summary

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards. You may be required, on an as-needed basis, to unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.

Drivers are home daily, with excellent pay and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should be 21+, pass testing, and meet English language requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• 1–2 years of route delivery experience preferred.
• Professional, safety-first mindset.
• Comfortable with early morning starts and driving into NYC.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer and transport doubles between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards.
• Deliver products to customer locations along an assigned route.
• Unload/deliver and complete route according to schedule as needed.
• Maintain safety, accuracy, and on-time performance on the route.

Job description

Monday-Saturday

Working rotating Saturdays, will not be working every Saturday.

Early Morning Routes

Start times are around 12AM depending on your assigned route.

Flexible Route Lengths

Work approximately 8–12 hours per shift, depending on your route.

Home Daily

Hit the road, complete your route, and get home the same day.

Job Summary

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and transport doubles (potentially triples) between Sysco facility and shuttle yards. You may be required, on an as-needed basis, to unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment testing
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement preferred

Physical Demands

• Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds occasionally.
