Shuttle Driver

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Shift & Schedule: Mornings and afternoons, Weekdays

Must Have: 3 Years Driver License

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for part-time opportunities to start immediately.

What we're looking for:

  • Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
  • Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
  • Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
  • Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announce arrivals and delays, coordinate the pick-up of customers, or handle other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
  • Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
  • Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
  • Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
  • Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Must haves:

  • You are at least 20 years old.
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
  • You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
  • You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Good to haves:

  • Customer service: 1 year+
  • Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
