Job summary

Romark Arkansas Llc is seeking a Shuttle Driver with a Class A CDL for local, home-daily runs. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, communicate with the yard, and ensure safe trailer operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of truck driving experience, familiarity with Yard Management Systems, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. DOT rules compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• 3–5 years of truck driving experience preferred.
• Able to lift 35–50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks/trailers.
• Follow all DOT rules and regulations.
• Operate and manage yard via Yard Management System.
• Move trailers for loading/unloading and haul on public roadways.
• Communicate clearly with customers and fleet coordinator.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Shuttle Driver - CDL Class A.Available Shift: Wed 12am-6pm, Wed-Fri 6pm-6amThe tasks and responsibilities for the Shuttle Driver are outlined below:Must be able to do pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.Must be able to follow all DOT rules and regulations.Must be able to do minor repairs to trucks/trailers, to keep all equipment running during the shift.Must be able to add fluids to keep trucks maintained, with no assistance.Fuel trailers as needed on the yard.Understand and operate refrigerated trailers.Must be able to communicate with other drivers and work with irregular schedules.Must be able to work mandatory weekend overtime.Must be able to clearly communicate with customer and carry out the assigned task.Must be able to clearly communicate problems with equipment to the fleet coordinator.Must be able to work with other departments in the company to accomplish task in these departments.Must be able to drive Material Handling Equipment to pick and load trucks during off-shift orders.Must make adjustments in the Yard Management System to clearly show trailer moves throughout the shift.Move trailers for loading/unloading purposes and haul them over public roadways.LOCAL RUNS!
