Chronos Operations (CO) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, based in Anchorage, AK. Belonging to the Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Chronos has a culture rooted in integrity, respect, and exceptional performance. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, Chronos provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all passengers/riders boarding DHHQ shuttles have valid ID before entering the shuttle.
  • Maintain awareness of the operational environment in the Washington, DC Metro area.
  • Arrive on time, drive according to a set schedule or route.
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers.
  • Maintain contact with the dispatcher and keep track of passenger pickups and drop-offs for logs.
  • Verify supplies at the start of each shift.
  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and fuel as needed.
  • Complete pre and post-shift paperwork, including inspections and maintenance reviews.
  • Report malfunctions or safety hazards.
  • Transport customers safely to approved destinations.
  • Operate ADA lifts and assist passengers requiring help.
  • Record the number of passengers per trip.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years' experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) transporting passengers.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License with P (Passenger) Endorsement.
  • Valid DOT Medical Examination Card.
  • Clean driving record with limited violations and no recent DUI/DWI.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Knowledge of the capital region roads preferred.
  • Successful completion of National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI).

  • Ability to meet security clearance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented with initiative.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to travel within the National Capital Region.
  • Physical stamina and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to read maps and understand routes.
