Job summary

Vivalon in Santa Rosa, California, is hiring a Shuttle Bus Operator to provide safe, reliable transportation and a positive experience for every rider. You will help community members stay connected to appointments and daily activities while enjoying a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Requirements include a valid California CDL, ability to complete paid training, and to obtain a VDDP certificate and Passenger Endorsement within 8 weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL with clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete paid training.
• Must obtain VDDP Certificate and Passenger Endorsement within 8 weeks of hire.
• Ability to kneel, assist passengers including wheelchair users.

What You'll Do

As a Shuttle Bus Operator, you'll provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation while creating a positive experience for every passenger. You'll play an important role in helping individuals stay connected to their communities, appointments, and daily activities.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking drivers who are:

Qualifications

• Valid California Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Ability to complete all paid training with full attendance
• Ability to obtain a VDDP Certificate and Passenger Endorsement within 8 weeks of hire
• Clean driving record
• Ability to kneel, bend, secure wheelchairs, and assist passengers as needed
• One professional reference
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screening, and comply with federally required random testing
