Job summary

SWALLOWING DIAGNOSTICS INC is seeking a Shuttle Bus Driver in Bradenton, FL, to transport staff and patients with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain records, and ensure courteous service to patients and families while partnering with medical staff and scheduling teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as shuttle bus driver or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Must pass a background check.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport staff to and from locations safely and promptly.
• Assist medical staff with retrieving patients at locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety.
• Maintain records of trips, mileage and fuel consumption.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies for a safe environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients and families.
• Communicate with scheduling team regarding delays or issues.
• Assist medical staff with setup and cleanup of workspaces.
• Keep the shuttle bus clean and well-maintained at all times.

Join SWALLOWING DIAGNOSTICS INC as a Shuttle Bus Driver 3-4 days per week, where you'll play a crucial role in providing safe and reliable transportation of our Medical Unit and Staff. • Transport staff to and from locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist medical staff retrieving patients at locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe driving environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to facility staff, patients and their families.
• Communicate effectively with the scheduling team regarding any delays or issues.
• Assist medical staff with set-up and cleanup of workspaces.
• Keep the shuttle bus clean and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a shuttle bus driver or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
