Shuttle and Regional Delivery Driver, Class A CDL

Job Summary:Viewrail Delivers is looking for a skilled individual with a valid Class A CDL that is able to transport product between our manufacturing and shipping facilities in Goshen, as well as make Regional deliveries to customers as needed. This individual would also help within our Goshen shipping facility staging loads, loading trucks, packing products, shuttling trucks/trailers and other tasks as needed.

Position Requirements & Responsibilities:(These requirements are in addition to any and all Viewrail employment requirements and policies.)

Responsibilities:

• Operate 26 foot box truck with 8 foot lift gate
• Transport and deliver product to customers with a white glove level of service
• Set every job site up for success
• Transport and deliver product between 5 different plant locations within a 1 mile radius
• Assist in shipping as needed (handrail packaging, unload trucks and scan items to bay locations).
• Perform vehicle inspections as needed
• Other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Documentation Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Valid Driver License
• DOT Physical (Provided by company if not currently obtained)

Required Skills:

• Ability to lift at least 70 lbs
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to drive and operate a 26’ box truck with lift gate
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly (Home nightly)
• Knowledge or willing to learn applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• No OWI’s within the last 5 years
• Strong Communication Skills
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
