Job summary

Workwear Outfitters, LLC is seeking a Shrink Wrap Operator for our Nashville-area distribution warehouse. You will wrap palletized products, operate the shrink-wrap machine, and assist with loading trailers on the shipping dock.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines in a non-climate-controlled environment. Primary responsibilities include ensuring load stability, verifying SKUs against BOLs, and collaborating with the Shipping Specialist to maintain accuracy

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, cold in winter and hot in summer.
• Demonstrated quality communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Shrink-wrap palletized products using the shrink-wrap machine.
• Load trailers on the shipping dock as needed.
• Verify boxes on skids to bills of lading (BOL) and shrink wrap skids.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow all safety rules.

Some overtime may be required.How You Will Make a Difference:As a Shrink Wrap Operator in a Distribution warehouse, a significant difference is made by ensuring load stability, reducing product damage, and optimizing material usage, directly impacting efficiency and safety. By applying consistent, high-quality wrapping techniques - such as proper tension, secure base wraps, and accurate film coverage - a shrink wrap operator prevents shifting, protects goods from damage, and reduces costly returns.Skills for Success:This position requires close attention to detail and quality.This position requires demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others positively.Ability to handle multiple tasks.Ability to work overtime.Ability to work weekends, when needed.Must follow directions well.Good attendance is a must.
