Job summary

Metro Electric Supply and Metro Lighting in Brentwood, MO is hiring a full-time showroom Sales Associate. You will greet customers, sell lighting products, assist in promotions, and pull stock numbers and prices from catalogs or computer systems while ensuring excellent service.

We value an extremely outgoing, self-motivated person with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, reliability, and a customer-first mindset. Sales experience helps but isn’t required.

Responsibilities

We assist customers in an unlimited capacity including remodels, whole house lighting, custom lighting design, retail, and corporate layouts; you name it, we do it! We train all of our employees and get them ALA (American Lighting Association) certified, have multiple training events each year to ensure we stay on top of what is new, fresh and current in the industry; all while sticking to our motto of deliveringUltimate Customer Service to every individual who chooses to interact with Metro Lighting.

In this role you will:

• Sell associated products at the showroom.

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.

Work Shift and Hours:

This is a full-time hourly, retail sales position. Shifts vary week to week and include weekends and one possible evening a week (7PM). We strive to have at least one full weekend off each month.
