Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic, talented and motivated Showroom Associate Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the design and execution of various projects, collaborating with senior designers, builders, and clients to bring designs to life. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment that fosters personal and professional development.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Visual merchandising of showroom products.
2. Ensuring that samples are put away and organized.
3. Staging showroom furniture and accents in an organized and attractive manner.
4. Greeting and assisting vendors, potential clients and existing clients who walk-in to the showroom.
5. Helping create systems, organization and processes to promote efficiency and beauty with the displays.
6. Ensuring samples are ordered and tracked within 24 hours of all clients.
7. Help with scheduling client appointments.
8. Scheduling product knowledge presentations with vendors.
9. Receive incoming calls and respond to communications in a timely fashion.
10. Describing our products and services to potential clients.
11. Collecting cost analysis and product details for projects.
12. Gaining expertise on all SRS Design offerings through vendor presentations, shadowing colleagues, job site visits, and assisting walk-in clients.
13. Collaborate with our senior designers on projects, which could involve meeting clients, sourcing products, writing estimates, creating visual presentations, and overseeing installations.
14. Measuring job sites or working with blueprints as needed (training provided).
15. Reaching out to past clients.

Business Development:

1. Assisting with social media and marketing, including but not limited to content creation, monitoring comments, messages, and all forms of engagement.
2. Using social media to build relationships with vendors, builders, remodel contractors, and clients through frequent engagement.
3. Creating and developing content ideas.
4. Finding shareable content that is relevant to our business model and field.
5. Developing and fostering relationships with outside designers.
6. Competitive research and analysis of competitors to identify industry standards for discounts and programs related to flooring, furniture, window treatments, etc.
7. Research and sourcing of products.
8. Writing estimates for clients.
9. Creating visual presentations for projects.
10. Do take-offs and estimate job costs from a blueprint (training provided).

Requirements:

Fluent in Excel, AutoCAD, Canva, and Social Media Platforms.
