Position Summary: HGM Glass is seeking a detail orientated and professional Shower Door Installer. This person is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient installation of framed, semi-frameless, and frameless shower enclosures in residential and commercial properties. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills, ensuring installations are completed to company standards and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Measure, prepare, and install a variety of shower doors (framed, semi-frameless, frameless) at customer sites. • Interpret work orders, schematics, and manufacturer instructions accurately. • Perform on-site inspections to ensure installation readiness (plumb walls, level floors, correct materials). • Safely load, transport, and unload materials and tools to job sites. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and company vehicle. • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors. • Handle customer concerns or questions in a professional manner. • Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE. • Document job completion, including measurements, issues, and photos. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in glass installation, carpentry, or a related field preferred. • Ability to read a tape measure, levels, and use basic hand and power tools. • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor, including climbing ladders and standing for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with frameless shower door installations. • OSHA certification or construction safety training. • Customer service or client-facing experience. Salary commensurate with experience.
