Salary Range: $18.00 - $25.00 Hourly

The Center at Foresight is seeking compassionate Shower/Bath Certified Nursing Assistants with a desire to make a difference in the lives of patients.   • Full-time, Part-time and PRN

Compensation/Benefits:

The CNA position wage range is between $18.00 and $25.00 per hour, based on experience. We also offer the following benefits:

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct care to residents. Such care must be delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or designee.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Prepares for new admissions by ensuring rooms are ready and welcome packets are prepared.
  2. Greets new admissions and makes them and their family members feel welcome and comfortable. Gets patient settled and follows new admit protocol.
  3. Communicates with nursing staff and care team effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  4. Prepares resident for therapy services, appointments and meals.
  5. Keeps residents room tidy and free of clutter.
  6. Assists with ADLs.
  7. Takes vitals and record them according to protocol.
  8. Carries out restorative and rehabilitative programs, to include self-help and care.
  9. Answers call lights and assists residents in a timely manner.
  10. Administers services within the applicable scope of practice.
  11. Ensures resident is following dietary allowances and reports problem areas to the Nurse Supervisor.
  12. Assists in arranging transportation for residents as appropriate.
  13. Complies with the rights of residents in a skilled nursing facility and acts in a manner consistent with and respectful of those rights.
  14. Maintains Relias training and in-service requirements.
  15. Performs charting duties as required and in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
  16. Charts notes in a professional and appropriate manner that timely, accurately and thoroughly reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident’s response to the care.
  17. Takes direction from charge staff.
Qualifications

Education:

- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Assistant certification for the applicable state.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current, unencumbered certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of Colorado.
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Ability to provide caregiving services to patients of all ages.
