Job summary

Aspire Senior Living in Joplin, Missouri is seeking a compassionate Shower Aide (CNA) to join our resident-focused team. You will provide shower and bath assistance with emphasis on comfort, dignity, and safety.

This full-time role includes dressing, grooming, toileting, and accurate care documentation, while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless, person-centered care during day and night shifts with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents (min 50 lbs).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide shower and bath assistance focusing on comfort, dignity and safety.

About the Role

As a Shower Aide (CNA), you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. Your Shower Aide (CNA) responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized shower and bath assistance to our residents, focusing on their comfort, dignity, and safety

• Assisting with personal care activities, such as dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of care provided

• Working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery

• Supporting our residents' independence and autonomy through person-centered care

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Missouri

• High school diploma or equivalent required
