Job summary

CORT Tradeshow and Events in Las Vegas, NV is hiring immediately a Furniture Repair Technician to repair, restore, and refinish furniture and event equipment to show-ready standards. This role supports inventory flow and uses hand and power tools while maintaining safety in a dynamic warehouse setting.

Schedule will vary with business needs and weekends are required; pay is $18/hour, with weekly pay, training, and benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years furniture repair/restoration preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture and lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Forklift certification preferred; on-the-job certification provided.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Furniture Repair & Restoration: inspect and repair damaged items to restore show quality.
• Surface Preparation & Refinishing: prep surfaces and apply finishes per standards.
• Inventory Tracking & Management: record damaged items and return repaired stock.
• Quality Control: evaluate repairs and recommend replacement when needed.
• Equipment & Supplies Management: maintain tools and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Safety & Compliance: operate safely and follow OSHA regulations.
• Training & Collaboration: share repair knowledge with warehouse staff and management.
• General Warehouse Support: assist with moving, loading, and unloading items.
• Organization & Cleanliness: keep repair area clean and safe.
