This part-time role reports to the building principal or designee and includes supervising students, contributing to show design, and helping with travel and event coordination for competitions such as the Midwest Classic.

Responsibilities

• Rehearsal Facilitation: Assist the Director in facilitating rehearsals for all three show choir groups throughout the week, providing guidance and support to students in vocal and choreographic rehearsals.
• Program Organization: Aid in the overall organization of the show choir program, including scheduling rehearsals, coordinating performances, and managing logistical aspects of the program.
• Fundraising: Collaborate with the Director and students to plan and execute fundraising initiatives to support the show choir program's financial needs, including budget management and donor relations.
• Competition Season Support: Assist with preparations for competition season, including coordinating travel arrangements, organizing costumes and props, and providing logistical support during competitions.
• Show Design: Contribute creative input to the design and development of show choir performances, including assisting with music selection, choreography development, and stage direction.
• Midwest Classic Support: Assist in the planning and execution of the annual Midwest Classic show choir competition hosted by Danville High School, coordinating logistics, recruiting volunteers, and providing support during the event.
• Supervision: Provide supervision and support to show choir students during rehearsals, performances, and events, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
