Job summary

TelevisaUnivision in Miami, FL seeks a seasonal Show Assistant Director to support the Director, Producer, Stage Management, Talent, and crew from rehearsal through filming.

You will help with rehearsals, blocking, camera prep, cues, schedules, and production notes, staying organized under pressure and flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in television, film, live production, or performing arts preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable working extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to collaborate effectively with talent, crew, and production leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with rehearsals, blocking, staging, and camera preparation.
• Coordinate with talent, crew, and production departments to keep filming organized and on schedule.
• Communicate cues, schedules, scripts, and production changes.
• Assist with technical and dress rehearsals and production days.
• Track blocking, staging, continuity, and production notes.
• Help troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during rehearsals and filming.
• Support the Director’s creative vision and maintain a professional production environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or Producer.
