Tolin Mechanical is seeking a Short-term Project Technician to join our Mountain Region team in Colorado. The role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and startup of commercial HVAC systems on assigned projects, using blueprints and specifications to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have 6–8 years of HVAC experience, strong organization and communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years’ experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Effective team player.

Responsibilities

• Preparation for on-site installation.
• Installing and repairing HVAC systems.
• Documenting work and providing technical support to customers.
• Rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, packaged air conditioners, and control systems.
• Air handling / fan coil units, condensers / chilled water pumps, humidifiers, and related equipment.

Skills

Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Short-term Project Technician to join one of our Project teams based out of the Mountain Region. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.

We have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician that is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team.

Project Technicians support overall project goals and are responsible for the installation of products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction. They perform repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems, and use a variety of hand tools, blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes, and/or engineering specifications to install equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

Average Starting Rate for a Project Technician: $24.08-$39.17 per hour. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.
