Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a writer to keep our commerce content library up to date, focusing on product reviews, buying guides, and deal roundups. You will revise, update, and optimize content for timeliness and accuracy, coordinating with the commerce content, partnerships, and growth teams.

The role reports to the production editor and requires a strong shopping instinct, SEO savvy, and data-driven decision making to maximize reader engagement and revenue.

Qualifications

• An obsession with products and shopping; you are the go-to shopping advisor for friends.
• At least 2 years of digital experience (journalism or affiliate commerce/marketing), including SEO expertise.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Daily experience working within a CMS (WordPress preferred).
• Proven track record of revenue-driving articles (deals-centric and evergreen).
• Passionate about service journalism and delivering high-quality content.
• Familiarity with data and reporting tools to inform editorial ideas.
• Experience with digital publishing tools and trends; AI tools experience is a must-have.

Responsibilities

• Write and produce 6–10 pieces of shoppable content weekly.
• Ensure pricing and product information are up to date.
• Research and write buyer guides and pros/cons; interview when needed.
• Research new products and trends and compare competitors' picks.
• Monitor new product launches and test/review new products.
• Pitch new content ideas to editors.
• Analyze market trends to find top product recommendations.
• Price-check articles before publish and before republishes.
