Job summary

Buff City Soap Franchising LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Shopify Platform Developer to own the storefront and platform integrations. You will design themes, manage catalog and promotions, and optimize performance to deliver a reliable eCommerce experience.

The role requires hands-on Shopify experience, API integrations, and cross-functional collaboration to implement efficient fulfillment and AI-driven routing. This is a full-time on-site position in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with the Shopify API (GraphQL) and third-party app integration.
• Experience with Shopify Plus payment gateways, inventory management, and checkout configuration.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear communicator who can work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom Shopify Plus themes and templates aligned to business and brand needs.
• Manage store configuration: product catalog, collections, navigation, and promotions.
• Optimize site speed and performance through code efficiency and caching.
• Implement and configure Shopify apps and third-party integrations, working with vendor APIs to customize functionality.
• Support fulfillment channels including BOPIS, ship-from-store, and same-day delivery with OMS/inventory/ERP integrations.
• Partner with eCommerce and technology teams on AI-powered order routing and SLA logic.
• Monitor site traffic, user behavior, and conversion data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct regular security reviews to protect customer data and platform integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and compatibility conflicts.
• Work cross-functionally with design, marketing, operations, and technology to bring initiatives to life.
• Translate technical concepts clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current on Shopify Plus platform updates and eCommerce best practices.
