Job summary

Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage inventory accuracy across retail and e-commerce platforms in Bozeman, MT. You will process inbound inventory, verify shipments, and maintain product data within Shopify and internal systems.

Collaborating with Operations, Retail, Marketing, and Finance, you will support pricing updates, vendor communications, and periodic stock counts to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Verify shipments against packing slips and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform inventory adjustments and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct stock counts and physical inventories as scheduled.
• Maintain product data across Shopify and company systems.
• Update pricing, costs, and MAP seasonally as needed.
• Ensure data accuracy across platforms and manage barcodes/pricing labels.
• Collaborate with Buying, Retail, Marketing, and Finance on inventory.
• Prepare import/export spreadsheets for system updates.
