Job Title: E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist Department: Retail

Reports to: E-Commerce and Fulfillment Manager

Employment Status: Full-Time (30+ hours per week)

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Location: Bozeman, MT

Job Summary

The E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for the accurate, timely fulfillment of online orders while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position ensures products are picked, packaged, and shipped efficiently, assists customers with online purchases and returns, and supports inventory organization and retail operations. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and a commitment to learning Yellow Dog's extensive selection of fly-fishing gear, apparel, and accessories for both freshwater and saltwater anglers.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment

• Pick products from the retail floor and back stock accurately and efficiently to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Package products securely and professionally to prevent damage during shipping while creating a positive unboxing experience.
• Assist with unpacking merchandise shipments and organizing inventory in appropriate storage locations.

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to online customer questions, concerns, and product inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
• Guide customers through the return and exchange process in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding orders, product availability, and fulfillment needs.

Product Knowledge

• Maintain current knowledge of product offerings, specifications, and availability to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.

Store & Workspace Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support safe and effective daily operations.

Position Requirements

• Flexible schedule with weekend availability (Thursdays-Mondays)
• Vast fly fishing gear and fly knowledge both local and destination is preferred but not necessary.
• Detail-oriented and attentive to accuracy when processing online orders
• Ability to work both independently but also as a part of the fly shop team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
• Previous experience in customer service or online fulfillment
• Passion to learn about fly fishing, fly fishing gear, and fly fishing travel

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is based primarily in Yellow Dog Flyfishing's retail store in Bozeman, Montana. Work schedules may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal overtime based on business needs. Employees are expected tomaintaina professional appearance, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a safe, organized, and welcoming retail environment.Work is performed primarily indoors with occasional outdoor product demonstrations, events, or customer activities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move for up to 8 to 10 hours per shift.
• Capacity to lift, carry, and unpack inventory boxes weighing up to 30-50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment whilemaintainingattention to detail and excellent customer service.
• Ability to safely use ladders, box cutters, hand trucks, and other equipment commonly found in a retail environment.
