Job summary

Incipio Devices seeks a Quality Engineer / Shopfloor Support Specialist to provide hands-on quality and inspection support across shifts. You will troubleshoot inspection equipment, maintain documentation, and drive product disposition with a focus on metrology and inspection software effectiveness.

You will become the SME for inspection software, train colleagues, and ensure compliance in MRB activities while supporting legacy product documentation and customer history reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline required.
• Experience in quality, manufacturing, or process engineering preferred.
• Working knowledge of CMM operation, inspection methods, metrology tools, and quality documentation.
• Ability to troubleshoot inspection equipment and coordinate corrective action.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective communication skills to train and support across shifts.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with UCC Server and Renishaw products is a plus.
• Experience with High QA inspection software preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on quality and inspection support on the shop floor.
• Update inspection paperwork for legacy products as needed.
• Troubleshoot CMM systems and other inspection equipment to support production flow.
• Develop knowledge of UCC Server, Renishaw products, and inspection technologies.
• Support MRB activities daily to move product through disposition and release processes.
• Implement and integrate inspection software into daily quality operations.
• Serve as SME for inspection software and provide training across all three shifts.
• Complete customer Device History Record reviews upon request.
• Maintain the customer complaint log and complete investigation reports on time.
