American Rock Products in Pasco, WA is seeking a Shop Laborer to support shop and yard maintenance and help with general construction tasks. This entry-level position offers hands-on growth and training within a CRH family company.

Wage is $18-$20/hr with DOE and potential for overtime. A valid driver’s license, physical exam, and pre-employment drug screen are required, along with a safety-minded attitude and willingness to learn various tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Pass physical exam and pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
• Safety minded and punctual with good attendance.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fill out paperwork for inventory, orders, and repairs.
• Answer phone calls and take messages.
• Input purchase orders, work orders, parts information and inventories.
• Research parts and order as necessary.
• Coordinate with purchasers for preferred vendors and pricing.
• Communicate with foreman on inventory levels and scheduling outside repairs.
• Collect month end equipment meters and fuel inventory levels.
• Complete monthly safety and environmental inspections.
• Run errands for parts and supplies; operate forklift as needed.
• Assist drivers, mechanics, laborers in locating parts and supplies.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and participate in safety program.
• Routinely assist other production areas.
