Job summary

Brayman Construction is looking for a Shop/Yard Laborer in Saxonburg, PA. The full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, supporting shop, warehouse, and yard operations.

Responsibilities include moving and staging materials, receiving shipments, loading/unloading with forklifts, and helping with maintenance and finishing tasks. Applicants should lift up to 50 lbs, have a valid driver's license, and be safety-conscious.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physically demanding work daily.
• Lift up to 50 pounds routinely.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a shop or warehouse setting.
• Focus on safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Move, store, and prepare raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
• Receive shipments, verify materials, stage inventory.
• Load/unload trucks with forklifts, pallet jacks, and approved equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting issues.
• Organize warehouse inventory and storage of materials, tools, and supplies.
• Assist production by preparing materials for sanding, blasting, masking, cleaning, and coating operations.
• Operate company vehicles for local deliveries and pickups; overnight travel ~1x/month.
• Follow safety and quality procedures; perform other labor or facility duties as needed.
