Flare Energy Services is taking applications and looking to hire another Shop/Yard hand in our Eunice Yard.

Applicants should be hard-working, self-motivated, able to lift up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis, be willing to help in the shop, yard, as well as rig up or rig downs, willing to work overtime when necessary. Job can have excessive hours depending on workload and you must have a flexible schedule and be able to stay out of town periodically if necessary. A typical work week consists of 40-50hrs.

Previous oilfield experience preferred but not required.

Pay will be dependent on experience and will be discussed at the time of interview.

Responsibilities:

Shop Hand will assist with safely and efficiently working in the shop, operating a forklift Primarily will be greasing and rebuilding plug valves, moving valves and iron from rebuilding station into pressure test bay, loading and unloading valves, iron, and equipment from trailers. maintaining and rebuilding equipment in the field as well as in the yard. Rigging-up as well as rigging-down various jobs on location when necessary. Hauling trailers and equipment occasionally.

Essential Skills:

• Communicate with Management regarding job.
• Ensure rig-up trailer is loaded with necessary equipment & supplies to complete the job.
• Assist in maintenance of equipment in the field as well as in the Shop/ Yard.
• Clean and maintain rig-up trucks, trailers and heavy equipment.
• Assists in the assembly and disassembly of equipment.
• Maintain a clean shop and yard.
• Comply with Attendance Standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, a satisfactory motor vehicle report, and verifiable work history.
• Must be available 24/7 unless time off has been scheduled and approved.
• Must have the ability to operate basic tools and equipment.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude as well as one that reflects the Company's culture.

• Field work environment, exposed to outdoor weather elements, high noise pollution, and the potential for dust, chemical and/or fumes or gas exposure. Shift work will consist of overtime, day/nights, weekends, travel/overnight for extended work periods.
