Job summary

Mesa Natural Gas Solutions LLC is hiring a Shop Tech to join our maintenance shop team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in mechanical trades, fuel systems, and electrical wiring within a fast-paced shop environment.

You will work with experienced leads to gain practical skills and contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency while learning our shop tech checklist and pursuing course certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Trade school or College Program graduates in Automotive/Diesel/NG.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine inspections and modifications to natural gas engines and generators.
• Perform load testing to identify possible problems.
• Make electrical and mechanical wiring modifications to control circuits.
• Test batteries, fuel, coolant, and oil; ship oil samples for analysis.
• Document work and report abnormalities to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team to achieve shop goals and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory management and parts replacement as needed.
