Job summary

Une entreprise reconnue dans les systèmes d'organisation recherche un technicien de magasin enthousiaste pour rejoindre son équipe. Le rôle consiste à utiliser des machines de menuiserie pour fabriquer des composants de placard et à assurer la qualité et la sécurité au sein d'un environnement dynamique. Les candidats doivent avoir de bonnes compétences en résolution de problèmes et être orientés vers le service.

Qualifications

  • Expérience avec des équipements de menuiserie et des outils à main souhaitée.
  • Capacité à multitâcher dans un environnement rapide.
  • Expérience en menuiserie ou fabrication de meubles préférée.

Responsibilities

  • Opérer des machines et des outils à main pour la fabrication.
  • Maintenir l'équipement de magasin selon un calendrier établi.
  • Comprendre les listes de coupes quotidiennes et suivre les normes de qualité et de sécurité.

Job description

Shop Technician / Machine Operator

Closets by Design is a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry and more. We desire motivated, organized, caring individuals who have a passion to provide outstanding craftsmanship and superior customer service.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated shop technician to join our growing team! The individual will be a member of our high performing production team that builds our organization systems and prepares them for installation. This team member would focus on woodworking and building various specialty closet components as part of our manufacturing team.

  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • Understanding company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques
  • Follow quality and safety standards
  • Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule
  • Understand daily cut lists
  • Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Foreman

Requirements

Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools a plus.

Excellent problem solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and ability to be attentive to and maintain machinery. Prior machine operation a plus.

Preferred: Experience in the woodworking or cabinet making fields (32mm systems)
