Shop Technician I

Hourly range: $16.19 to $19.00 depending on experience.

Toshiba America Business Solutions, a leader in digital technology, is seeking a Shop Set up Technician located in Coral Springs, FL. Toshiba specializes in equipment, digital displays, document security, and software solutions that enhance business efficiency.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by preparing office equipment for delivery and maintaining, servicing, and repairing equipment in-house.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up equipment for demo pool, sold orders, service loaners, and refurbished items at an on-site location.
  • Maintain showroom equipment, ensuring cleanliness, proper paperwork, accessories, supplies, and updates; verify serial numbers and product details.
  • Troubleshoot and repair copiers, fax machines, and duplicators; refurbish used equipment.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in ready condition.
  • Assist with warehouse duties, including loading/unloading and prioritizing tasks.
  • Deliver equipment during high-volume requests.
  • Submit accurate setup reports and ensure equipment meets Toshiba standards and schedules.
  • Complete required training and attend department meetings.
  • Keep the shop area clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience as a Shop Technician or in copier/office equipment repair.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
