Job summary
Sonsray Inc is seeking a Shop Technician in Bakersfield, CA for full-time work repairing CASE agriculture machinery and related equipment in a shop environment. You will diagnose engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and structural components, including welding, with emphasis on safety and quality documentation.
The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on heavy equipment experience, the ability to work independently, strong diagnostic skills, and basic computer use for
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience with heavy equipment.
- Hands-on experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Welding and structural repair experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with OEM service procedures and shop safety standards.
- Proficient with basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving engines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving transmissions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving structural components, including welding.
- Complete accurate documentation and service reports using basic computer systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols.
- Apply safe and proper use of hand, pneumatic, and electric tools.
- Perform additional functions or duties as assigned by management to support dealership objectives.
