Essential Personnel, Inc. is hiring a Shop Technician in the Ainsworth, NE area. This full-time role offers on-the-job training and an opportunity to work in a manufacturing setting building livestock handling equipment.

No prior experience is required, and the client is willing to train dependable individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Weekly pay and employee benefits are included, with a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Manufacturing, welding or production experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of livestock handling equipment.
• Operate shop equipment including grinders, drill presses, band saws, hydraulic hose machines, and other power tools.
• Perform welding and metal preparation tasks as needed.
• Safely move materials using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and quality inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support production and manufacturing duties as assigned.
