Job summary

PurgeRite is seeking a dependable Shop Assistant to support daily shop and warehouse activities, equipment handling, and inventory control. This role emphasizes safety, efficient equipment staging, and collaboration with field teams to ensure readiness for projects.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse and inventory handling experience in an industrial or mechanical environment.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends when required by operational demand.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs+ and work in varying outdoor/shop conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, and yard trucks as needed to move equipment.
• Receive, organize, and store tools, hoses, fittings, pumps, materials, and consumables per procedures.
• Assist with inventory control activities – cycle counting, quality control, shipping and receiving.
