Job summary

MS Directional, LLC is seeking a Shop Technician to assemble and test electronic components, clean field kits, restock MWD kits, and perform electronic roll tests on MWD survey instruments. The role includes basic shop maintenance, meetings, trainings and development activities, under the Shop Manager's guidance.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while ensuring safety and quality in a dynamic shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Live within 1 hour driving distance from Conroe facility.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and supervisors.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic components.
• Clean and restock MWD field kits.
• Perform electronic roll tests on MWD survey instruments.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Conduct meetings, trainings and development activities as needed.
• Operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters and follow safety policies.
