Thompson Tractor is seeking an Earthmoving Shop Technician to service and repair earthmoving equipment. The role involves on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and e-learning, with advancement based on attitude, skill level, and performance.
The technician will diagnose engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems, perform minor repairs, and perform preventative maintenance in a shop setting. A valid driver’s license is required for hire and OSHA/MSHA training is provided.
The Earthmoving Shop Technician is responsible for servicing and repairing equipment, working both independently and as part of a team. The candidate must be able to evaluate and repair earthmoving equipment. The position includes on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and e-learning. The Technician is expected to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Advancement is based on attitude, skill level, and job performance.
