Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced automotive shop technician in Kansas to perform preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency roadside calls. You will conduct DOT inspections, diagnose systems with J-Pro, FleetCross, and OE Software, and document labor, parts, and warranty data.

You must hold Air Brake Certification and a DOT Medical Card; Section 609 HVAC certification is required for HVAC work. ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Air Brake Certification is required.
• DOT Medical Card is required.
• Section 609 HVAC Certification required for HVAC service.
• ASE Certifications preferred; specific certifications may be required within 1 year of promotion.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, tire services, and emergency roadside calls.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform service calls including night and on-call assignments.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using J-Pro, FleetCross, and OE Software.
• Complete work orders documenting labor, parts, and warranty information.
• Mentor shop personnel as needed and uphold safety standards.
