Job summary

Rango Inc. is seeking a skilled Shop Technician in Mesa, AZ to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on light to heavy-duty vehicles.

This is a hands-on role requiring lifting and practical mechanical knowledge, with responsibilities spanning fluid top-offs, leak inspections, tire care, lubrication, and diagnostic troubleshooting. Applicants must have 3 years of mechanical experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work days and some nights.

Qualifications

• Three years of mechanical experience with light, medium, and heavy-duty/class A experience.
• Possession of strong diagnostic skills
• A valid Driver’s License
• DOT experience
• Applicants must possess their own setup tools necessary to perform the job duties effectively.
• Must be able to work days and some nights
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
• Strong safety consciousness and understanding of equipment safety
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and walk on uneven ground

Responsibilities

• Topping off fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
• Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and issues
• Checking tire pressure and inflating tires to manufacturer specs
• Lubricating moving parts and keeping the engine clean during servicing
• Troubleshoot light and heavy-duty trucks
• Ensure DOT trucks are in compliance
• Perform other duties as required

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Technician to join our team. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to mechanical repairs and maintenance. This is a hands‑on role that requires heavy lifting and strong mechanical knowledge.

• Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid
• Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues
• Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications.
• Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.
• Troubleshoot light and heavy‑duty trucks
• Making sure our DOT trucks are in compliance.
• Perform other duties as required.
