Job summary

VersaTech Automation Services seeks an on-site installer to set up pneumatic and hydraulic systems, panels, and related equipment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include layout, measurement, fabrication, and testing of systems in accordance with industry standards. Applicants should read drawings and demonstrate strong safety awareness while executing tasks across varied field conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience reading construction drawings and interpreting specifications.
• Proficient in identifying and locating components for pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Install tubing trays, bend and cut hard pipe, and fit fittings.
• Assemble pneumatic and hydraulic panels and end devices.
• Perform hydrotesting and system function testing with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards including API guidelines.

Description

Installation of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, emergency shutdown systems and equipment under minimal supervision.

• Layout, measure, fabricate and install tubing tray.
• Layout, measure, bend, cut, thread, ream and fit hard pipe systems.
• Install single line and group tubing and fittings.
• Able to layout and install pneumatic and hydraulic panels and end devices.

• Demolition of tubing and end devices.
• Perform hydrotesting and system function testing for pneumatic and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision

• Knowledge of industry and American Petroleum Institute standards.
• Able to read relevant construction drawings.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control logic.

• Proficient in the use of tools of the trade.

• Able to recognize and avoid safety hazards and dangers
• All above functions performed with minimal supervision
