Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and ensure efficient flow and distribution of calls and work orders.
  • Disassemble tractors and subunits without damaging units in various environments.
  • Inspect used parts to determine if they meet resale standards.
  • Maintain and organize equipment and ensure tools are on hand.
  • Know parts numbers and locations; update inventory database as needed.
  • Photos of items are taken and attached to entries in the used parts database.
  • Assist in load and transport of purchased equipment when required.
  • Support shipping to ensure timely shipment of used parts.

Job Details: Job Location: Bishopville, SC 29010, JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for the flow and supply of recycled parts for customers.

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY

Performs routine duties independently in accordance with established policies and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Most of the work is performed in an industrial shop or outdoor yard environment. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work area is normally moderate; however, it may increase while on site. This position requires proper PPE including safety shoes and hearing protection.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for the efficient flow and distribution of calls and work orders.
  • Responsible for the disassembly of tractors and various subunits without damaging units, in different work environments.
  • Ability to inspect used parts to determine if the part meets standards for resale
  • Ensure upkeep and proper use of all equipment, and checks that necessary equipment is on hand
  • Knowledge of parts numbers and all parts locations
  • Works with supervisors to get input and suggestions before proceeding with questionable used parts
  • Maintain the database for South Carolina, updating incoming and outgoing parts.
  • Take photos of all items when pictures are needed. Download pictures and after resizing is completed attach the picture to the item on the used parts database.
  • Research inventory discrepancies involving used parts
  • Supports good internal and external customer relations.
  • Cleaning and putting away parts
  • Troubleshoot used parts problems; make recommendations on switch out of combine and tractor parts and recommend substitutions
  • Works Lost Sales on used parts.
  • May be required to assist in load and transport of purchased equipment.
  • Works with the shipping department to ensure timely shipment of used parts.
  • Attends all company training, employee meetings or other events as directed by management.
  • Follows all departmental procedures and policies. Recommends changes to procedures for supervisor approval.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations; keeps work environment clean and free of hazard
  • Any additional job duties assigned by supervisor.

Technical
