Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Shop Technician to join our Baltimore, MD warehouse team. The role focuses on servicing, repairing and maintaining portable fire equipment and extinguishers, with emphasis on learning testing/inspections and ensuring safety and organization on site.

You will support drivers, manage stock in Excel, and contribute to a culture that values safety, reliability, and customer service. Compensation includes hourly pay with a performance bonus potential.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain portable fire equipment and extinguishers.
• Learn and understand systems testing and inspections.
• Identify code and non-code conformance issues.
• Maintain inventory databases using Excel.
• Pull and prepare orders for delivery to job sites.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
• Assist drivers with deliveries as needed.

Our continued growth and success has created the need for aShop Technicianworking out of our Baltimore, Maryland warehouse.

Duties include:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining the portable fire equipment and extinguishers
• Learning and understanding systems testing and inspections
• Ability to identify code and non code conformance issues
• Maintain inventory databases using Excel
• Pulling and preparing orders for delivery to job sites
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
• Assist Drivers with deliveries as needed

Hourly paycommensurate with experience with opportunity for a results-driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness in role. Expected salary range between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
