Job summary

Sierra Air in Reno, NV is seeking a Shop Support Technician to assist with inventory, deliveries, and warehousing tasks as part of the Shop team.

Responsibilities include inventory, delivering parts to field staff, picking up from suppliers, and maintaining tidy shop areas; occasional jobsite deliveries; must pass background/drug checks and have forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record with minimal moving violations.
• Ability to represent Sierra Air in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff, and the general public.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to pass drug test/background screening.
• Minimum one year experience operating a forklift.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Computer knowledge.

Job description

The Shop Support Technician reports to the Shop Manager and is responsible for assisting with inventory, deliveries, and various warehousing duties.

Daily Job Tasks

• Assist with Warehouse Inventory
• Deliver parts to field employees, at the jobsite (on occasion)
• Pick up parts from suppliers
• Assist in the warehouse as needed
• Help with cleanup around the shop and warehouse
• All other duties assigned by management

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years’ inventory management experience

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record with minimal moving violations

Working Conditions: Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, in various weather conditions. Lifting up to 50lbs required. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift objects from the ground, climb a ladder, stand for an extended period of time, and sit at a desk, in front of a computer for an extended period of time

Pay Range

$17 - $20 USD
