Job summary

Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping Inc. is seeking a Shop Supervisor to lead our garage team and drive maintenance and service efficiency. You will manage repairs, part orders, and invoicing while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, diesel engine expertise, and a valid Texas driver’s license, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, reporting, and staff coordination to meet service metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience in a garage shop setting.
• Experienced diagnosing and repairing diesel engines/locomotives.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Shop Supervisor

The Shop Supervisor manager role will be a proven leader that provides a team concept mindset to build and unify the garage, safety driven and a productive leader. Ability to train while leading their team to success and achieve all internal and company goals. The role has administrative duties that are related to the day-to-day repair & preventive maintenance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all repairs and preventive maintenance on all vehicles and equipment but not limited to. This includes managing the of all parts purchased, settlement of invoices. The right candidate will have excellent multi-tasking skills and verbal/written communication skills.
