Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain Crown lift trucks and other makes. Roles involve hands-on welding, fabrication, and completing service paperwork on-site for customers.

The position emphasizes safe operation, reading schematics, and following service manuals to meet customer needs. A HS diploma and hands-on experience are required, with company training and benefits provided.

We are seeking knowledgeable customer focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals.
• Industry related training.
